Maternity specialist in Sassari and across Sardinia. I create natural, luminous pregnancy photo sessions designed to capture the authentic beauty of your bump.
I am Valeria Mameli, a maternity photographer based in Sassari with a deep passion for pregnancy photography across Sardinia. For years I have been dedicated to telling the unique story of pregnancy through natural, intimate, and light-filled images: my goal is to reflect your story with gentleness, avoiding forced poses and privileging genuine gestures, glances and the fleeting moments that often last only a second. Why choose me as your maternity photographer? Because I work with sensitivity and respect: I believe photographing maternity means paying careful attention to the relationship between the parents-to-be, the growing belly and the small daily habits that already tell the story of a family. My style combines a documentary approach with images refined in light and composition: I love the soft sunset glow on the beach, outdoor sessions among the landscapes of the Costa Smeralda, Olbia, Alghero or Platamona, as well as lifestyle sessions at home, where memories are mixed with the objects and corners that speak about you. How I work: before the shoot we discuss what you want to preserve — an elegant maternity album, bump photos by the sea, or a more intimate at-home session. During the shoot I create a relaxed and discreet atmosphere to bring out naturalness and spontaneity; I guide you gently when needed and pause to capture the truest moments. After the session I carefully select and edit the images, respecting skin tones and the natural quality of the light. I particularly love October for beach sessions: the light is softer and the atmosphere more intimate, but I work year-round throughout Sardinia. If you are looking for a maternity photographer who can highlight your authenticity and turn the days of pregnancy into images that move you every time you look at them, write to me: I will be happy to tell your story with the style that defines my work.
