Maternity is at the heart of my work: as both a mother and a photographer, I bring all my experience and feeling to telling this unique journey. I’m Francesca Del Perugia, a maternity photographer based in Sesto Fiorentino, and my goal is to deliver authentic, poetic portraits for expectant mothers. Why choose me for your maternity session? In my studio you’ll find a calm, minimalist and welcoming space: a blank canvas on which to create images without artifices, designed to reveal your light. My maternity photography style favors naturalness: elegant, intimate portraits often taken with natural light at sunset, or in studio for the most private images. I offer in-studio sessions, on-location sunset shoots and home sessions when you prefer. I provide gowns for the mother and prepare an informative PDF for each couple with practical tips on styling, timing and what to bring, so the experience is relaxed and enjoyable. The process is simple and humane: before the session I listen to your ideas and we decide together the best timing (usually recommended between the 26th and 33rd week), the location and the style. During the shoot I create a climate of ease — like having tea with your best friend — where nothing is imposed and everything comes from spontaneity. Attention to detail is essential: I compose every frame to bring out emotion, tenderness and the bond already forming with your little one. I also offer the option to include family portraits alongside the maternity session when you wish, though my specialty remains the story of the sweet wait.
