I’m Laura, the photographer behind LaSambo, and my passion is to portray maternity with sensitivity and respect. As a maternity photographer in Chioggia, I have made documenting pregnancy my primary focus: I believe every life deserves to be told, and the waiting period is a unique moment to preserve with timeless images. My training in Visual and Performing Arts at IUAV in Venice, years of studio experience and participation in specialized workshops have helped me develop a personal style: intimate, natural shots that pay attention to real emotions. I work to create a relaxed and safe atmosphere where the expectant mother feels comfortable. For this reason I like to meet future moms before the session: you can come to the studio to choose outfits and to decide together whether an indoor or outdoor maternity photoshoot best reflects your wishes. I recommend booking your pregnancy photoshoot well in advance: the ideal period is between the 27th and 34th week, when the bump is nicely defined but you still feel comfortable and mobile. During the shoot I give gentle direction, simple guidance and lots of patience; you are welcome to be accompanied by your partner or anyone you wish. In the studio you’ll find attention to detail: soft lighting, a welcoming environment and all the time you need to feel at ease. My process is clear and focused on your experience: first contact and getting to know each other, then preparation (outfit consultation and choosing locations), the shoot itself and finally image selection. All photos receive careful post-production to enhance emotion and naturalness. My slogan #celebratelife is more than a phrase: it’s how I approach every maternity photography session.
